Originally, Pierre
Romain was a musician.
He first graduated in Musicology, and then taught musical pedagogy in
higher education where he was quickly confronted with the issue of "
singing out of tune " and with all the emotions associated with it.
Graduating in psychology enabled him to explore the relationships which
bind sound, music, voice and human psychology together. Initiated into
musicotherapy, sophrology, and oriental syntonization techniques, he met
Alfred Tomatis, a French ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat specialist), with whom
he trained himself, worked and carried out research into the fields of
Audio-Psycho-Phonology (APP). He applied, developed and broadened his
work to the fields of pre, peri, and post natality, and trained himself
in Rebirth Therapy.
He supplemented his knowledge of communicational mechanisms by completing
a master's degree in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP).
He is a member of the Belgian Audio-Psycho-Phonology Association.
